what sucks the most?!

Posted in Life Style with tags , , , , , on September 9, 2008 by sarahdavid23

talking about what sucks the most in today’s society… it’s not the same sex marriages happening here and there, not also the bombings that the terrorists loved to do, not the debate of whose gonna be the next president of the US, nope! not even sarah palin, nor britney who smash awards at the recent VMA’s, well that’s  quite but not really. haha!

but merely its the thought of not knowing who you really are. a lot of us loved to blog about this and that about themselves and other people but do they really know what their talking about? like me here, do I really know what I’m up to? haha!

seriously enough, there’s nothing more annoying than not knowing who you really are, not knowing what you can do and what you cannot…for nobody gets to stay close to ourselves than us,right?

we are aware that there are these people who thought they’re lost, but to tell you frankly they are not. they just think they are. how could they know that they’re lost when they know where they should be and where to look for themselves!

i think it’s more of a self impose thing, they just want to believe they are looking for themselves but the real deal is that they cannot accept the fact that they are what they are.

they cannot accept that these things are happening, that what they hate the most are always there, that they really gain weight because these jeans won’t fit in anymore and that everything they’re looking for are  not in their own place! it’s just sucks, right?!

but just remember that all things are good. maybe it won’t appear that way to you right now, but sooner you’ll see. just enjoy what’s there at the moment for nothing’s really eternal.

…it’s the journey

I’ve  heard someone utter these words saying…”it’s not the destination that matters most, it’s the journey.” It made me think for a while and realize that indeed, it’s not the goal itself that says it all, it’s all about getting there.

People may be all the same on having aspirations for themselves, whether making it big or small, staying on top or just playing low. But getting to your destination opens different paths to choose from, it could be the easy or the hard way. For whatever it cost, one thing is for sure we are all going to take a direction maybe known to us at some point but eventually will yield into something different from what we totally knew about.

What I think is important is that we enjoy the ride, savor each moment of it for it’s not gonna happen again. The road might be bulky and rough at times, it could be even messy and most likely may seem to be heading at a wrong course but still if you’re a good passenger you’ll be able surpass all the adversity of getting to your destination and finally reaching your goal. Remember you only get to fully take pleasure the fruit of your work after looking back to the tracks you’ve pass just to get there.

David Cook’s Light On

Words cannot express how much I liked this song. It’s so soothing, moving and so captivating. The lyrics are great, the arrangement is tremendously wonderful and the vocals ah? what more can I say, it’s perfect!

David Cook never lets me down. He continuously gives music that is so pleasing to the ears and definitely touches the heart. I can really feel him with this song, he sang it like no other person could ever do.

As for those comments that went really disturbing, well I don’t care. What I know is that David Cook just once again gave us a part of himself and that is his music. And I want him to know that I appreciate it so much and I will continue to support him all the way.

I will put a Light On for David Cook.

blast from the past

Posted in Life Style with tags on August 11, 2008 by sarahdavid23

I just happen to watch this not so-old film yesterday that stars Jennifer Garner, 13 going on 30 and to my surprise it is actually a good one. Besides the comedy and the feel good to nothing kinda vibe it has, it truly has this big impact on me…yeah, it hit me like a fast running bullet and before I knew it the film just made me cry.

Well I find it really funny and amusing all at the same time because I never thought in my wildest dreams that this film could actually do this to me. Hehehe… but seriously it’s pretty good.

I just happen to go back to the person I was before after watching this movie. You know, that kind of blast from the past thing

just made me cry

just made me cry

…I just thought of the things that I used to do and miss them actually. I know that as I grow old, as I meet new friends, got to experience things and see all of these at the different perspective I get to change a bit of myself. I don’t know and I never plan it anyway…but I guess it’s just the way it should be or maybe I’ve change without actually knowing it. I just missed the old me.

I’ve learned that as you move on and go to a different level some of the good things in life are being left behind and then there comes the time that you wish everything will just go back to normal, but then you can’t just do it easily because things aren’t the way they were before.

We are open to the idea that everything changes and nothing’s permanent, right? These changes brings so much to us that sometimes we can’t really mange them to go at the right side always. Some turns out to be distorted and worst failed. But indeed we need this to create ourselves, to have a unique identity and know ourselves more, to know what we can do and what we cannot.

I guess this blast from the past that I have experience after watching this film only shows that maybe I’m not happy to where I am right now or maybe I’m still looking out for more, something that used to be there.

my very first blog…

“Life has weird way of working itself out sometimes.” these words came from one of David Cook’s interview long long before… I actually can’t remember when. hehehe… anyways, I really loved to quote this one.

Funny how life really works sometimes, there are those times you would actually find yourself on top of everything, surrounded with triumphs, laughs and all these beautiful things that life has to offer; and then suddenly comes the time when everything you touch breaks down, fall into pieces and nobody seems to be there at all. Such a terrible world! huh!

But despite of that, a life without these things is boring! yup… BORING!!! I think without this roller coaster ride that life bring us sometimes, this world that we live on right now can never be a perfect place to live in after all. This imperfection we get to experience makes life perfect! Yeah… what do you think?
